Meet the founder

Dmytro Nasyrov

Dmytro founded Gambit Stream in 2014 to prove that regulated iGaming does not have to trade speed for compliance. He has spent 23 years building production software, with the last decade inside real-money platforms - designing the backends, payment rails and compliance layers that casinos and sportsbooks depend on.

He holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and two MSc degrees in Computer Science and Electronics, and lectures on software architecture at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. Alongside Gambit Stream he runs Pharos Production, the engineering group behind platform work in FinTech, AI and blockchain since 2013 - the same discipline, applied to regulated gaming.

At Gambit Stream he leads platform architecture, compliance design and the short list of vendor calls that matter. The approach is operator-first: if a feature shortens the path to a licence or makes an SLA more defensible, it ships. If it does not, it is cut. When he is not on a call with an operator in Malta, Curacao or Manila, he is reviewing platform code with the Kyiv team.

"Operators do not buy platforms, they buy the next twelve months of sleep. Our job is to make that sleep boring."

Since 2014

12 years building the boring parts of iGaming

Not a product launch, a compounding investment. Each phase added regulatory depth, engineering scale or operational maturity. Shipped continuously, never rewrote the stack.

  1. Phase 1 · Founding

    Engineering over marketing

Gambit Stream started as an engineering team building the unsexy infrastructure iGaming operators pay other vendors to outsource. PAM, cashier, compliance state machine, reporting. The boring parts that become the product when everything else fails.

  2. Phase 2 · First platforms

    Turnkey casino, shipped

First full-stack casino deployments with game aggregation, multi-currency cashier, KYC pipeline and backoffice. Game providers integrated one by one until the aggregation layer hit 50+ content partners and multiple payment rails.

  3. Phase 3 · Multi-vertical

Sportsbook, poker, lottery on shared rails

Expanded beyond casino into sportsbook, poker, lottery, virtual sports and fantasy. Same wallet, same KYC, same compliance surface. Operators stopped running 3 vendor integrations for 3 verticals and collapsed onto one codebase.

  4. Phase 4 · Regulated expansion

    Tier 1 certifications, compliance depth

Platform architecture certified for MGA, UKGC, Gibraltar, Isle of Man, Italy ADM, Ontario AGCO and 26 other regulated markets. Compliance became a first-class feature rather than a bolt-on. Licence consultation practice opened for operators entering new jurisdictions.

  5. Now · 2026

    32 markets. 12 licence routes. 180+ providers.

Today Gambit Stream platforms run under live licence in 32 regulated jurisdictions with 12 licence consultation routes, 180+ game providers aggregated and 10,000+ titles available. Same founder, same engineering-first posture, compounding 12 years of operator experience into every new build.

Roles we staff

Our vision

iGaming is an engineering problem first - not a marketing one.

Since 2014 we have built the platforms, payments rails and compliance layers other vendors outsource. Operators stay because our stack gets out of their way - so teams can focus on the product, not the plumbing.

  1. 01
Ship the boring parts. PAM, payments, KYC and reporting are table stakes. We treat them like the product - auditable, observable, boring in the best way. Every endpoint is documented, every API response is versioned, every transaction is traceable.
  2. 02
One team, not a marketplace. Engineering, compliance, design, risk - staffed in-house. No handoffs, no mystery invoices, no vendor chain to debug at 2 AM. When your sportsbook integration breaks on Saturday, the same person who built it answers the phone.
  3. 03
The licence lives with the code. Every feature ships with jurisdictional guardrails baked in. Enable a market, don't rebuild for it. MGA rules flow through the same code path as Curaçao rules - no if-statements, no ad-hoc compliance.
  4. 04
Honest numbers. Real-time uptime, real cost-of-acquisition, real player economics. If the dashboard lies, nothing else matters. We publish our SLA, we miss it, we credit you.

How we work

Ship small, ship often

Weekly deploys, not monthly releases. Each feature goes live independently, so bugs stay small and feedback loops stay tight.

Compliance-first architecture

Regulatory rules are baked into the core platform, not layered on top. This keeps every feature compliant by default.

No black-box vendors

Every integration is documented. You see the code path, you own the logs, you understand the failure modes.

Operator-grade observability

Real-time dashboards show uptime, player behavior, fraud signals and compliance status. You see what we see.

Long-term partnerships

We measure success in years, not projects. Our revenue model rewards long-term platform stability, not feature churn.

Direct access to the team

No support queues, no ticket farms. You have a Slack channel with the same engineers who built the platform.

About FAQ

Operator questions about working with us

How big is the engineering team?
30+ qualified employees across engineering, compliance, design and risk. One founder, one CTO (same person), dedicated squads per active project. No marketplace of contractors, no outsourced pods.
Who will actually work on my project?
The same people who pitched the work, wrote the roadmap and will still be answering your Slack message in year 3. No handoff from sales to delivery, no offshore fulfilment layer, no discovery team that disappears after kickoff.
What happens when something breaks at 3 AM?
24/7 on-call rotation across the same squad that built the platform. First response within 15 minutes. Real engineers with platform context, not ticket triage. Every incident produces a post-mortem shared with the operator.
How does the team stay current with regulations?
Dedicated compliance team tracking changes across 32 regulated markets. Quarterly regulator briefings, active participation in iGaming industry bodies, direct relationships with regulators in Malta, Gibraltar, Isle of Man and other jurisdictions.
Do you use contractors or full-time staff?
Full-time staff for every discipline that touches the product: engineering, compliance, risk, design, QA, support. No offshore contractor pods, no staff augmentation dressed up as a team. Continuity of knowledge is the product.
What is the founder actually involved in?
Dmytro remains CTO in the engineering sense: architecture reviews, incident post-mortems, hiring final sign-off and direct access for every operator we work with. Not a figurehead, not a part-time advisor. Same technical focus as 12 years ago.
Can we visit the office or meet the team in person?
Yes. Office visits encouraged during due diligence or pre-launch. Team meetups at SBC Summit, ICE London and iGaming NEXT. We prefer to meet operators before signing rather than after.
What technologies does the team specialise in?
Rust and Go backend, PostgreSQL and Redis, Kubernetes on AWS, Cloudflare edge, REST and GraphQL APIs, observability via Grafana and OpenTelemetry. PCI DSS Level 1, ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II certified infrastructure. Python and TypeScript for supporting services.
